Make big profit

We are a non profit that helps wrecker operators and there families. And we are looking for companies that making donations to such causes for tax right offs or otherwise. Where do we look? National Coalition of Wrecker Drivers

I have an idea for a non profit organization but it would have to be ran on donations so how would I go about setting one up? I have a really good idea to help others with a problem I ran across with a family member but just don’t know how to set it up. It would need to start in Alabama.

I am looking to organize a fundraiser to offset costs incurred by individual players on my sport’s National Team. The national govering body for the sport is a not-for-profit organization, but this would not directly involve that organization in any way. Would a sweepstakes with “suggested donations” being payable online be legal?

I have a not-for-profit organization (www.overflowingwellministries.org) that reaches out to help women, children, and their families. We need help from companies and need them to donate their goods and/or services to help us with this fight. We need all types of items…if you name it we could probably use it! Does anyone know of any major companies that donate, what they require, and how you apply for donations?

I have a small ministry I run from home and school, it’s not huge but we make a big difference in our community. Recently, I’ve needed some donations. Do I have to file with the IRS as non-profit to receive them? It seems stupid to have the governments nose in everything. If I do, where and how can I get certified?
