im doing a report and i need to know how much iams loast in profit from the food being pulled off the shelves

    they have a toll free number on their site you can call about the recall. Perhaps they couldtell you.

    i don’t know the figures, but i’ll tell you how to do it. Look at their 10k or 10q, which will tell you how much they had to pay for litigation/clean up. More importantly, you have to figure out the oppurtunity cost associated with the fall in stock price. This can be done by looking at an analyst report, or just make a regression, figure out what you think it should have been, then compare it to the actual price. good luck

    All they could do is give you an estimate. They will not know the exact figure for some time.
    This is an occurence, something unusual, not planned or anticipated, something which does not happen in the usual course of business. It is impossible to come up with a realistic figure at this time, all the problems assiciated with it have not surfaced.
