How long before the democrats try to outlaw making a profit?

If you read on this board all the anti-business rants, you’d think democrats think 100% of a businesses profits should go back to the employees, and the owner/entrepreneur should live in a shack behind his business and not profit from his entrepreneurship and business.

  1. As soon as Obama becomes the elected one.

  2. Your simple mind bought into all the spin, lies, and rhetoric. You really need to read the unbiased BIOS on each Candidate.

  3. oh HOGWASH he wants to increase taxes SLIGHTLY FOR THOSE ELIGHT THAT MAKE OVER 250K..THAT IS LOGICAL TO ME

    MCCAIN AND PALIN ARE RACISTS

  4. its only a matter of time…

  5. “My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you — ask what can you do for your country. … It is now the moment …to recall what our country has done for each of us, and to ask ourselves what we can do for our country in return.”

  6. How long before republicans try to outlaw making a loss? You’d think republicans think 100% of a businesses losses should be charged back to the tax payer and the owner should live in a mansion far away from his business and not suffer losses from bad business decisions. :)

  7. Most people have no problem with making a profit… but having a crooked government and business is the problem

  8. What good does it do to put down anyone in this country who wants to get ahead. Wanting to get ahead is the fuel of capitalism. Profits of $250,000 a year is really not that much in the grand scheme of things.

  9. nobody is against making profits, in a capitalist society it would be counter-productive. however, the way the profits are shared out is what is in question. people on minimum wage in america officially live under the poverty line, paying employees fairly would make for better living conditions for the lower paid workers allowing business owners to still live comfortably.
there’s also the fact that big business use unfair and sometimes illegal tactics to squeeze smaller businesses out of business, which prevents new businesses to become successful which is what most of the hostility is about.

  10. considering the left will control the majority of washington if he gets in I wouldn’t see it being that hard.

Think about it right now he’s only proposing higher taxes on people earning 250k plus. But what’s going to stop him from lowering that line and taxing the crap out of someone earning 200k, 150k etc

  11. They will still let you make a profit…………..they’ll just redistribute it once you do!
