I dont’t think it will affect prices much, now has never been a better time to buy a car especially a pickup, I own a 05 Titan and wish I could have gotton mine for the price they are going for now.
Vehicle prices aren’t affected that much by the economic status of the manufacturer as much as the economy in general. Nissan will give incentives to move those trucks as much as they need to based on supply and demand, they don’t want to give them away at too low a profit, but they certainly can’t raise the prices higher than the demand allows because then nobody will buy at all.
Your best bet is to get two Nissan dealers competing for your business, then you’ll get the best price. Go to Edmunds to get the invoice numbers, and make sure you are aware of all incentives that Nissan offers - and agree on a price independent of rebates. In this market, you should be able to get away with pretty close to invoice before the rebate.
good luck
It will have no effect on a new vehicle selling price. However, the market for used Nissans will drop slightly due to people being afraid of a car which the company might dissappear. The dealer still pays the same amount for the new one, and still needs to make a certain amount of profit on it in order to stay in business. You should be an American and BUY AMERICAN!!
If anything it will raise the price of a Nissan. Any time a company is losing money the last thing they want to do is lower profits even more be reducing the price of their products.
Their response to this, lay off workers and close factories. They will not be reducing the prices on their products because price isn’t the problem.
You should be an American and BUY AMERICAN!!

How’s that feel?
