  1. Cheap, poor quality ingredients. How else?

Plus, animal foods are subsidized by the USDA; if they weren’t, they’d be far more expensive than they are now.

  2. They sell a whole lotta Whoppers!

  3. Probably on the soda. That stuff is pure profit.

Pure sugar too come to think of it.

  4. alot of people buy em then the people who buy ems add up

  5. bc they buy in bulk, it prob cost like 20 cents to make a whooper, if that… and they are VERY unhealthy

  6. They are making lots of money on everything they sell. They count on people not caring (or being smart enough to care) about how healthy the food is.

  7. they make the whoppers out of REALLY REALLY bad ingrediants. its cheap and i’m pretty sure they make it out of ring worms of something like that! they make a profit from selling so many of them and all the other over-priced food (if thats wat u wanna call it) they sell!

  8. when it only takes 75 cents to make their hamburgers, they are profiting. They also make money on sodas, the so called “combos”, and fries.

  9. who cares…it’s so good! and cheap!

  10. One word – Soda

  11. Our Burger king only sells the jr. whopper for a dollar. Most people will buy a fry and drink with the sandwich and we all know how much drinks are costing at restaurants. I imagine that they pay very little for drinks so they make an excellent profit on that item.

  12. Because it costs them about 25cents to make.

They don’t flame broil anymore so they save a lot on energy costs by microwaving.

Go to a BK and even look for a grill – you won’t find one. The mass grill off-site then store the patties in grease. Then microwave it so you can have it your way…

    Barf!!

  13. Their combos are upwards of $7 and they have a huge menu. So they can afford to have deals. Plus they have enough locations that the company is not hurting financially.
