What is the fair profit percent for silent partner in a 2 member partnership?
The silent partner would act as a broker/liaison between me and vendors as well as providing wholesale products, drop-ship vendors, with who he already has connections with; I would have most control over the company and would be doing all the work that comes with running a business.
A silent partner basically does nothing but supply, and then eventually collect, money. What you’re describing is a regular ol’ partner. 50/50
If you don’t want to go 50/50, then you need to hire him as a contractor and pay an actual salary.
