you weren’t screwing yourself? I would **** for you to support something so silly, only to find out that it’s your own pocket book that is affected….

Bob J – I took that approach yesterday, and there were still people defending it. I figured if people realized it would actually affect their personal finances, they’d be a little more open minded to the negative impact of what they support…
Chihuahua….It’s only rhetorical because you assume you know the answer. It’s not an excuse for the high prices. But not only will it cost higher prices at the pumps, it will affect investments made by average Americans. It’s a DOUBLE HIT. What’s your excuse for that idiocricy?
I don’t support it. It would just be passed on to the consumer.
You’re so smart and I just love your smelly little feet.
This is true but if you support the windfall profit tax at all you are hurting yourselves. Where do the businesses get their money to pay taxes? From the product you buy. Tax them more they have to charge more. All taxes are taxes on you.
I think the government should take the social security fund and invest it all in American oil companies. Then let them drill, and watch the fund grow. Every time you fill up you would be investing in your own future.
Well it all was for Show anyway. Everyone knows, including mentally challenged democrats , that Corporations DO NOT PAY Taxes. Every tax levied against a corporation converts directly to increased prices in the store or in the pump. They always pass on cost to end users. They never absorb cost, they pass them on or they go BROKE!!!! That was a sham vote so Democrats can blame Republicans for not supporting lower prices. Taxes would have been paid to the GOVERNMENT (which is what Democrats like) by the corporation but the money would have come out of OUR pockets at the pump.
Pass the cost onto the consumer… so what’s their excuse now for these rising costs? That’s a rhetorical question !!!
BS yamster and the republicans will surly pay for looking out again for wall street not main street and the big oil companies that is fleecing the American peoples . the republicans will lose 50 seats in the house and senate for this filibuster come November .
Of course not!!
People who are gullible enough to believe in the windfall tax don’t realize what they’ve asked for.
