The big corporations say they are loosing millions of dollars because of piracy?
Do they deserve this?
I think yes they do. Corporations like Microsoft, Apple are very greedy and they try to restrict your rights of the products you buy from them, for example they use DRM on music and videos.
And although piracy is thriving on the net they still have allot of profit.
At least Apple has the right to be greedy, they have high quality products.

Ahhh, greed is always going to one of mans biggest downfalls. Thats not to say it is right though. Still, I have to sniger when a multi-billion pound company gets fleeced by it’s own success.
Sure they are greedy, but are they more greedy than other companies in other areas – probably not. Still, this is kinda like asking did I deserve to have my baseball game rained out (or worse, did I deserve to get cancer) – hey it happened, thats life, just move on. Dwelling on academic questions like this never solved anything.
