I mean, is the stigma with Avon products that an individual, rather than big box, is making the profit?
I just don’t get the stigma with MLM. I know that recruiting someone to sell is like so BADDDDD, but I mean, what is so wrong with an individual selling a product and giving you personal service rather than you going to big box like Walmart and dropping $100 in one visit?
The problem is not ‘Big Box’. The problem is somewhat you and somewhat the people you are talking to.
1. Avon - is not a MLM. It is sales that’s all.
2. You are talking to the wrong type of people. For Avon - stop talking to people about it. LOL they all know about the company and the products. Just leave the booklets around with your info on them people will order when they are ready. Avon is a Territorial product so find the area in which to work and continue to provide your catalogs. You will get orders soon, Christmas is coming.
Start small. Put out 100 or 1000 flyers and try different approaches and try different target markets. Try home parties etc. Networking.
Find out people’s sub-concsious reasons for not buying your product.
In my opinion when I think of avon or mary kay I think of over-aggressive women trying to push a product on someone.
Also, some people I know have had allergic reactions to these products. Tell them what is NEW AND IMPROVED.
Find out how people view avon. Does avon have a 30 day money back guarantee?
Avon has been around along time and someone’s grandma might of tried the product 50 years ago and had a bad experience or whatever.
Also, avon reps Over Sell their products, don’t make it sound too good, be truthfully. Avon has been around along time people BELIEVE they know everything about it but they don’t. Let them know why it is better than the stuff at the stores or what you can do to make it a better service.
