Big Oil makes 9 cents per gallon profit. Government makes 25 cents. Why does Congress say Big Oil is greedy?

    Don’t believe that. Exxon made 24 billion profit last quarter. They work the books to make it look like they only make 9 cents a gallon. By the way, nice ears.

    Good question. As to the sources, Herb, it’s on the news. The feds make 25 cents and state makes 17-21 cents…yep look who’s greedy.

    when they are allowed to finally drill where it will be profitable those profit margins will go down as they are the ones paying for the drilling and pumping and making and transporting. Mean while the govt. puts out nothing and makes more per gallon plus gets a percentage around 35% on corporate taxes of profit.
