How can i make profit out of an organization? I want it to be nonprofit but will like to make living of it?

I have been wanting to start up some type of donation organization for those in Need. But In reality I am In need Lol. I want to be able to profit something out of it with out it being a scam. I wanted to know if there was anyway about it.?
