AP; Exxon Mobil earns $11.68 billion, the biggest quarterly profit ever by any US corporation.
You think there is a correlation between off-the-chart gas prices and their profits?
Can you spell oligopoly?

  1. And ALOT of the Democrats in CONGRESS have share holdings with EXXON and BP! Record breaking profits, no wonder they don’t want us to FIND OIL!
    Democratic RATS!
John Kerry owns 250k with Exxon, 150k with BP, and many more on that list in the Dem party!
They only want bigger bank accounts, while we the people who own the land the oil is on are losing jobs and our homes !

  2. What’s more is that it was a 33% boost in their profits.

It’s frustrating, and it’s part of free-market capitalism in its purest form.

  3. Don’t forget to mention the MILIIONS of Taxpayer dollars they recieve yearly in subsidies
    Thanks G O P

  4. Very concerned that captive consumers are being taken advantage of.

  8. Very sad that I’m not a major shareholder.

  9. yea don’t tazer me…clearly republicans have no connections to oil…not like our current president used to run an oil company or anything…

ps this ecuador business with chevron is abysmal. stuff like this makes me wonder why so many worship corporations like gods in this country and are blind to all the social costs – the suffering these companies create is just as valid when it happens to people in latin america!
