$150,000+ is an excellent income… Money doesn’t always buy happiness though.
Enough to pay the bills and save some, with still enough to enjoy life, that’s great.
250,000 a year maybe? LOL, it depends on where in the US you would want to live!
You can do it with no income at all, if you have a pocketful of credit cards.
If you’re talking about sustainability, any income that’s greater than your expenditures is a great income that will lead you to long term financial security.
depends on where you live?
Usually 100K and up is sufficient.
Depends what part of the United States you live in. East or West coast you would need $250,000 + to live Great, that is of course AFTER you have purchased a home, and on the inner states like the mid-west you would probably only need about $150,000 + to live great.
Well, If you can top Bill gates, welcome to it.
I think a good combined income for the family is 150,000 /year, of course, this number increases with multiple children and or paying for college, but its a very comfortable amount that can easily fit in vacations and such.
Well, that all depends upon what you consider GREAT. Different people have different opinions on that. I personally know people that are happy on $50,000 a year. I also know people that aren’t so happy making $200,000. In my opinion, in most of the country, a person can do most of what they want and own a nice home on $175,000 to $200,000 a year.
